So you may remember that I made a build from almost exclusively Danger Den stuffs. Well, it turned out to work really well, but it was a visual mess and a nightmare to clean.

This had two separate water-cooling loops, each with a 3x120 radiator. One loop for the RAM and CPU, which was a pain because the RAM-blocks took 1/4 inch tubing. And then the other loop for my SLI set up, which was easy because I purchased the HYDRO version of the gtx-580's which already have the water blocks installed.

So after PAX this year, where we got to look at different builds, etc...I decided to scale back my build, as far the case & water-cooling were concerned. I just wanted something a little simpler and easier to maintain. The Corsair 800D case saved my life.

So as you can see, this is way more scaled back. No more water-cooled RAM and just one loop. Except this time I'm using one 3x120 radiator before the CPU and one 1x120 radiator before the SLI. I'm pretty happy with it. My temps are good (CPU is idling at 27c right now) and it's much easier to maintain.

GTX 470

I got a new GTX 470 superclocked from EVGA. It is running wonderfully so far, and DX11 is pretty nice. Nothing to flip out over, but it's cool.

Also, look how much longer the 280 is.

My mom's speakers were working on Wednesday night all fine and dandy.
On Thursday I plugged my tower into all her bullshit to use my computer, except I am retarded and couldn't get the internet to work on mine. Probably some bullshit with static IPs.

1. I'm on my third play-through of Mass Effect 2. That's how much I like it. I want Mass Effect 3 by tomorrow. That's how impatient I am.
2. I should have all necessary parts for my future machine upgrades, by the end of the week. I will try and take pictures and make a pictorial of my adventures.
3. After a few weeks of playing, I'm pretty disappointed and underwhelmed with Global Agenda.
4. The new DLC that is coming out for Borderlands looks sweet. I haven't played that game in a while now and I'll probably love it all over again, when I do get back to it.
5. I wish I could game forever.
