My virtual life in pictures

My female Shepard's life in pictures.

I was trying to help Mordin out with his experiment, but I got bored.
Then I had a talk with Samara.

I had a few drinks with Dr. Chakwas.

She passed out, so I put her on one of the examining tables.

This is not a lady-like way to sit, when wearing a dress.

Also, for a bonus:
There is an ogre from Dragon Age.

I'm going to need a new game soon.

When I originally got Mass Effect, I did three play-throughs. I lost those saved games when I built a new computer and forgot. So then I decided to do one play-through for each class, and I've carried them over to Mass Effect 2. Above is my final character: female - renegade - engineer. She's just relaxing at a party at the moment.

So when I finish this character, I will retire from Mass Effect(s) until number three comes out. I don't know what to do in the meantime. All the games that I want don't come out until next year. Portal 2 and Deus Ex 2 come out in February next year, and Dragon Age 2 and Crysis 2 come out in March. That is too long for me to wait. I need more computer games right now. I need them.

Mass Effect 2 DLC - Lair of the Shadow Broker

Lair of the Shadow Broker

No word on when it will come out, but I think this is a great idea. Seems pretty cool to fill in that little gap on what Liara is going to do.

L4D night starts in 90 minutes or so

take off pants

Also...and this is completely unrelated...I don't know if you've ever gotten your character to nab this little bit of conversation, but I have. Then I found it on YouTube today.

Mass Effect 2 - Overlord DLC

I finished the Overlord DLC for ME2, and I'm quite pleased with it. It is made up of a few different missions with some traveling in the Hammerhead between them. The environmental visuals are some of the best I've seen in Mass Effect 2. Seriously looks wonderful. The missions are pretty standard for the game, but the environments and level set-ups are what really stand out. One the missions has a very creepy, almost Doom 3 feel to it. The storyline through the mission is very nice as well.

If you are liking Mass Effect(s) as much as I do, then I would recommend.

Mass Effect 2 - Firewalker pack

The new Firewalker pack for Mass Effect 2 has been out for a few days now, and I think you should get it. It is free and I see no reason why you wouldn't really enjoy it. I especially recommend it if you are starting a new character/import. The missions are about as long as your standard find-a-mission that are on random planets. But these return some great XP and credits, so these missions are good pad up a starting character.

The vehicle itself is fun and fast. It has a missile launcher that shoots heat-seeking rockets, so the combat is quick. Just don't land in any lava or acid, because you'll die immediately. The one part about this pack that I do not like is the fact that you cannot save during the missions. So if you die in the mission you have to start all over again. Keep that in mind.

Go get it. It's fun.

Garm audio

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

I just thought I'd put these in one spot, in case you didn't have them.

Speaking of Dragon Age... I started on the new expansion, but I haven't gotten very far into it. But they hook you up with many new spell progression lines. PLUS you have the opportunity for a third specialization, which will open up an extra progression line. Very cool (311).

Mass Effect difficulty settings

Here is what I like doing now:
I enjoy finishing Mass Effect and then immediately importing the character into Mass Effect 2. It's like one big game that way.

I've always played Mass Effect on the veteran difficulty setting. The other day I finished a play-through on the hardcore difficulty setting, which really wasn't that much more difficult, but did let me advance to level 55. I'll tell you though. The hardcore difficulty setting in ME2 is a good bit more difficult.

So I just started a ME1 character to play through on the insanity difficulty setting. I died twice on the first mission.

I like these games and I'm going to keep telling you about it.

multiple topics

  1. I'm on my third play-through of Mass Effect 2. That's how much I like it. I want Mass Effect 3 by tomorrow. That's how impatient I am.
  2. I should have all necessary parts for my future machine upgrades, by the end of the week. I will try and take pictures and make a pictorial of my adventures.
  3. After a few weeks of playing, I'm pretty disappointed and underwhelmed with Global Agenda.
  4. The new DLC that is coming out for Borderlands looks sweet. I haven't played that game in a while now and I'll probably love it all over again, when I do get back to it.
  5. I wish I could game forever.

Mass Effect 2 planet scanning

For some reason I am addicted to planet scanning. I've been using on average 25 probes per planet. Not sure why, but so far this is my favorite part of the game. I'm not saying the rest of the game is bad, but I just really really really like scanning for minerals.

Mass Effect 2 E3 trailer

You probably already saw this, but I still wanted to put it here.
