Here's something I think about Battlefield 2
I think that winning at Battlefield 2 is more than skill. It is very gear-based. I'm doing better these days now that I have more upgrades and weapons. That being said...
I'm glad I got this game. Let's hug.

Video Game Music.
Video game music. Wild arms is a favorite RPG of mine from the PS1 era. It was the first JRPG I ever played. I think. Nostalgia is oozing out of every part of my body right now. Anyway, the score is freaking sweet. Here is an example.
I uploaded it for you. 36 tracks.
Here

Enjoy.

2K marin wants to fuck you
First it's gonna warm up to you with an two entries of an original, critically-acclaimed FPS by the name of Bioshock...
then it's gonna ask if you wanna kiss...
then when you lean in to taste its mustache,
it's going to tear apart the seat of your pants and shove 2048x1152 pixels of tessellated, testicle-adorned timber into your disgusting exit.
2K marin is "re-imagining" X-COM: UFO Defense. It will be remade as an FPS. It will most likely ruin the best computer game ever made.
Shacknews Article
Considering they're big fans of the series at 2K marin (subsequent entries being exponentially worse than the former), they must already know that somebody tried something like this before.
X-COM: Enforcer
true life: it was fucking awful
the future: it is fucking awful

Cool pics.
This is a picture I took the other day while driving home on I-95. It made me laugh a lot.
This is a picture my dad emailed me. Sometimes he is Gordon Freeman. I emailed him back "cool picture." and received this explanation confirming that my father is crazy as fuck:
"If you look closely you will see that I am in a lift that I used to drop down into the nuclear fuel transfer canal which was down about 40 FT I got out and did inspections. This is recorded on camera and you are monitored by radio - see microphone - you have a safety harness that they can pull you out with if you have a problem. It is a nuclear locked high radiation, highly contaimented, hot particial confined space with alpha. It's as good as it gets."

I couldn't stop laughing at these.
Behemoth - Demigod (Radio Disney Version)
Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face (RDV)
Same guy who made the Radio Disney Version for "Wait and Bleed." There's also videos of a smooth jazz version of "Enter Sandman" and I few death metal conversions of classic songs in his channel. Check them out.
********EDIT********
Rob told me he wanted to see this video of me tripping and completely face-planting during a stage dive initiation sequence. Start watching at 1:46. My glasses fell off, too. :(

Jakub Dvorský making a movie?
I'm not sure if you saw this on RPS, but you may want to check it out.
Samorost Goes to the Movies
Jakub Dvorský is the guy who developed Samorost and Machinarium. There is a trailer on the RPS site. It retains the feel of his games. Kind of interesting.

we are one year old
Can you believe we are one year old? There has been a lot of gaming in the past year. We lost some people and we gained some people, but I think we've maintained a core standard of taco-excellence.
In honor of our anniversary (and the fact that we apparently can't play nice with others), I've acquired a TF2 server for us. The server is at the following IP:
206.217.136.19
You can also do a tag search in your TF2 server browser for "taco" or "IAAT" and that should bring it on up. Sean and I are going to be running the admin side of things. I basically wanted to lock this down for us that have been playing all this time. I also wanted to have a place that we could play and do whatever the fuck we want. Sick of getting kicked over our sprays, etc...
So yea. Happy birthday tacos.
