Here is what I like doing now:I enjoy finishing Mass Effect and then immediately importing the character into Mass Effect 2. It's like one big game that way.
I've always played Mass Effect on the veteran difficulty setting. The other day I finished a play-through on the hardcore difficulty setting, which really wasn't that much more difficult, but did let me advance to level 55. I'll tell you though. The hardcore difficulty setting in ME2 is a good bit more difficult.
So I just started a ME1 character to play through on the insanity difficulty setting. I died twice on the first mission.
I like these games and I'm going to keep telling you about it.
I wish Steam would put both in a bundle/on sale so I could buy them and do the same as you.
