I finished the Overlord DLC for ME2, and I'm quite pleased with it. It is made up of a few different missions with some traveling in the Hammerhead between them. The environmental visuals are some of the best I've seen in Mass Effect 2. Seriously looks wonderful. The missions are pretty standard for the game, but the environments and level set-ups are what really stand out. One the missions has a very creepy, almost Doom 3 feel to it. The storyline through the mission is very nice as well.If you are liking Mass Effect(s) as much as I do, then I would recommend.
I bought both ME games today. I would be happy if you told me which DLC's are worth it.
